The home plate umpire left sick mid game, causing a delay in the game. The remaining umpire who changed into the home plate gear - was wearing a brewer shirt (joke about the shirt).

Despite the cold weather and delay it was a good time and was more enjoyable than the raining white sox yankees game I went to last week and left do to water fall.

How I plan to stimulate the economy.

- Buy a good lunch.
- Go to a Brewers Game (in Milwaukee - happening May 10th) and a Cubs Game (in Chicago - some night game most likely).
- Look for a cheap plane ticket to some where cool.

That’s it. I have fulfilled my duty and spent money to stimulate the economy.

How do you plan to stimulate the economy?

I saw DJ Shadow live in Chicago, the show started on time at 7:00, and the opening act never went on. Meaning when I got there at 8:00 half of it was over, will have to see a live show in its entirety sometime.

The other day at work we where discussing what makes a good SEO employee. Later on I was thinking back on how I got into search and the different jobs that have all added to my overall search experience.

Got Into Search:
I took a job building websites for company that sold SEO as one of their main services. As a result I was trained and taught all things SEO. This company had a significant amount of clients and this resulted in me building (completely) or working on (programming or designing) 100+ websites (great hands on experience and a pretty sweet portfolio).

Continued Building:
I took a new job building websites (mainly front end web development), I learned more, and got addition experience working for one of the most knowledgeable programming web gurus I have met (he has written several book on the subject - here are a few).

Got Into Paid Search:
I changed geography and started a new job that gave me the opportunity to learn all things paid search and have some great times and learnings with reps from google, yahoo, microsoft, and many other excellent companies.

Back To Focusing on SEO:
I missed having the majority of my work time spent with web development, so I took a new job that allowed for more of this.

Clients:
In addition to learning programming, design, paid search and SEO the vast number of diverse clients that I have worked on ranging from medical, legal, educational, finance, software, science, automotive, communications, beverage, and others has helped me acquire case specific insights.

Some Cool Side Projects:
I have had some insightful side projects along the way as well, such as a short period of time as a part time google quality rater (just finished adding that w2). As you probably guessed you have to sign an nda so that is why I never talk about what it involved.
